I had a very cool dream this morning. I was driving in the snow. I was on a road past my piano teacher’s house that had a cul de sac at the end. I thought it would be easier to drive slowly (idling) around the circle drive than to back up and turn around to go home. There were hills and cliffs all around. Now that I’m awake, I realize it’s an area I’ve never been to before. As I hit the corner to turn, the car sped up and left the road altogether. I had no control of the car whatsoever. I was scared, and braced myself, as the car went careening down the nearest cliff area. I knew I was going to get stuck in the snow at the bottom of the hill, in the best case scenario. I had the kids in the car, and I was scared. Then, the car was picked up and placed on the road back home. God said, “I just wanted to show you something. Now be on your way.”

I was blown away by how I was now on the right road to get home. Just like that! I wish I had looked around and seen what God had wanted me to see. I wished I could have trusted to enjoy the scenery on that little excursion.
