I just read this sad article about fruit bomb. It looks like candy, so much so, that clerks in the Buffalo convenience store (featured in the article), stocked it in the candy aisle.
But it’s not candy! It’s an air freshener! Three girls went to the emergency room after buying and eating fruit bombs.
I wonder if it was the packaging that confused the store owners, but the price that convinced the young girls to try it. I remember when you could buy candy for pocket change, but now you’d be hard pressed to find something for the mere 30 cents charged for this air freshener. Warn your kids to stay away from this, and any other poorly labeled ‘candy.’
