For the last couple years, there never seemed time for leaves. What with keeping up with curriculum and driving everybody all over Adam’s back acre, leaf time would sneak up on us like the flu. And we’d find ourselves in the back yard bagging leaves in the snow, in a mad race against time before leaf pick up day.

Ideally, you need to do the leaves at least twice, sometimes three times, given all our trees.

But this year we have a much more leisurely pace around here, Amen! So I was able to go out and do some raking today.

And I got to mow the front lawn with the bag and pick up those leaves. It’s always nice when the leaf covering in the yard is light enough for the lawnmower!

And best of all, we got a flyer from a new landscaping company that can come out and gather up our November leaves and take them away!

We gotta spread that leaf love, you know?
