My oldest always had a way with words. Pity I couldn’t get her to stick with blogging. She so enjoyed my tales of gnomes and elves that she coined the phrase ‘the fairy world of home.’ I couldn’t have come up with a better title for the series! Here’s what happened recently:

Something tells me that Laundry Elf will have to pay for the lulls in teaching sprite’s day…

Laundry elf enlisted her children to haul clean and dirty, youngest calling herself laundry elf’s bunny.

Nutritionist pixie worked in concert with kitchen sprite to plan and create the evening’s meal. It all depended on laundry elf delegating..

Kitchen sprite has zapped the energy laundry elf was counting on to catch up today. Paging: children + bunny?

Coming soon: Laundry Tales! A debate over bunnies, rabbits, deer, and…veggies ensued as to what the children will be called re Laundry Elf

Looks like I need to hire a sleuth dwarf to solve the mystery of the bathroom vandalism, and what’s up w the purple permanent marker?

Teaching sprite is exhausted from rounding up horses after the barn door has closed. All. Day.
Speaking in cliché is not too invigorating either.

The laundry bunny, who wasn’t too helpful yesterday, has tackled a giant pile of clean clothes, folding it all. Now babbling w pants on head.

Somebody’s grumpy today. Holla, teaching gnome.

Teaching gnome is a bit too proud over her dictation brilliance. Family begs to differ…

Teaching sprite is pretty sure she didn’t authorize this Valentine’s Day madness…

(as dictated by eldest daughter): Valentine’s Day not too appreciated in the fairy world of home.

After a morning of delegation and heavy lifting, laundry elf settles down to the drudgery of putting clothes away. #sigh

That was quick and painless! Laundry elf has earned her break.#phew

It’s training to walk right by a half folded pile of laundry, right? Laundry elf has covered her ears and is chanting lah lah lah.
