There is a theme in many children’s books nowadays about how children need to understand that mommy has to work. Of course, this theme is not isolated to children’s literature. Many children, including myself, have (or had) to live with this everyday. Mommy has to work. We need to have the finer things in life. Like the ability to take a trip to Disney World.
